What you can do with the Monday.com connector:

• Manage boards: Leverage different data in your boards to execute different business processes in MessageBird.

• Automate tasks: Using Flow actions and triggers, you can automate and streamline the repetitive tasks.

Monday.com data synchronization

The Monday.com connector doesn't periodically sync data to MessageBird or vice-versa. Instead, data is only pulled and pushed via triggers and actions in Flows

How to install Monday.com

What you'll need

• Admin access to Monday.com with at least Basic plan or above.

• Access to Connectors in the Automate Work section in your MessageBird workspace.

Step-by-step

1. Click on your name in the bottom left-hand side of your screen, then click Integrations.
2. Search for and click Monday.com.

3. Click Install Monday.com in the top right-hand corner.

4. Enter the connector name and Board ID and click Log in.

You can find Board ID by navigating to Monday.com and selecting the appropriate board, and in the browser URL, you’ll see boards/{boardID}. For example, in the image below, the board ID is “1298294057.”

Next steps

Visit the “Health” tab to assess the connector’s health.

• Data capture: This handles incoming data and events, often via webhooks. When not healthy, it typically means issues with setting up the connector's webhook endpoint.

Use Monday.com

Once you've successfully installed the Monday.com app, you can incorporate its functionalities in various areas of the platform:

Flows:

• Purpose: Incorporate Monday.com triggers and actions in Flows to automate business processes, such as item created or create a board group.

• How to access:

  • Proceed to Flows located under Automate Work.

  • Initiate a new flow or modify an existing one.

  • For invoking a flow using Monday.com triggers, set the Trigger to "Connector", the Connector to "Monday.com", and then pick the relevant Monday.com app (if you have multiple installations).

  • Here, you can opt for any triggers the Monday.com connector supports.

  • Additionally, to integrate Monday.com actions into your flows, select Monday.com from the "Connector actions" dropdown.
