Invite an agent to Inbox

You can invite your colleagues to join you as Inbox agents in just a few clicks!

What you'll need

Make sure that you have the following information to hand before you start:

  • The agent’s work email address.

  • The agent’s display name.

  • Any tags that you want to assign to the agent.

  • Any teams that you want to assign the agent to.

  • Any additional roles that you want to assign to the agent in addition to the 'Inbox Agent' role.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. From the side menu, click Inbox.

  2. Go to the Inbox Settings, then click Agent profiles.

  3. Click Create agent profile.

  4. In the "Email address" field, enter the agent’s work email address.

  5. In the "Display name" field, enter the agent’s display name.

  6. In the "Tags" field, enter the tags that you want to assign.

  7. In the "Additional user roles" field, enter any additional user roles that you want to grant the agent.

  8. To finish the process, and send an invitation email to the agent, click Invite new agent.
